cMarket Online Auctions

Are you hoping to integrate your gala event with an online auction?

Now you can!  Auction! integrates gracefully with cMarket online auction tools.  You can enter items in Auction! and upload them to the online event, or enter them online directly.  When the online auction closes, your updated bids and item information are brought into Auction! directly.

Why do an online auction and a gala event?

We used to wonder that as well, but in talking to our customers, we've learned a lot! 

The online auction is great for engaging members of your community who may be more "into" electronic bidding.  The online auction also allows you to regularly keep in touch with your community, recognize sponsors in a new way, and publicize the gala event. 

The gala event is great for "friend-raising" and is a "see and be seen" event.  For unique or priceless items, a professional auctioneer is invaluable for achieving maximum benefit to your organization.  Music, refreshments, special guests, dining, door prizes, dancing and entertainment all contribute to an unforgettable event, engaging your guests to be generous.

Both kinds of events help your organization, and appeal to different segments of your constituency.  Having both events also allows you to balance your event item count with another bidding opportunity.

How does it work?

Auction Systems and cMarket have developed interfaces to minimize the effort involved.  After enabling the cMarket interface, you can export part or all of your catalog to cMarket, import items with bids and bidder information to Auction!, and merge the imported data with your existing gala information.
