How to check the version number for Auction!

Start Auction! Click Help menu, About Auction!... The exact version number is displayed. (Note: this works in most Windows programs; look for the "Help, About..." menu selection.)

At the end of the version number, "W" indicates Network, "M" indicates Multi-User, "S" indicates Single User, "D" indicates Demo edition.

3.1.4061-3.1.6301	Yes, for continued support.
2.99.7612 or lower	Immediately for continued support! There are major performance and stability enhancements in the 3.1 release series. All customers running 2.99.7601 or lower must update to retain technical support.

Any version lower than 2.y4.06	Yes, at your earliest convenience. Prohibits accidental opening of V3 datasets. Earlier releases are not supported
